The
Rogersville Area Welcoming Committee was formed in April 2002
with the help of the City of Rogersville and the Rogersville
Area Chamber of Commerce. The first visit was made on May 15,
2002. The committee called over 120 businesses in the area to
gather coupons, flyers, coffee mugs, calendars, and much, much
more
to put in donated baskets. These beautiful baskets are then
given to new families to welcome them to Rogersville and help
them get acquainted with the area. Rogersville has been averaging
20 new families moving into the area every month so the committe
is quite busy.
